Nightclub Marketing: 10 Ways a Nightclub can Market Themselves
If you are a new nightclub, breaking into the social scene can be difficult. However, here are 10 different ways that you can market your club to help draw in the crowds.
- Outdoor posters
Outdoor posters can be a great way to advertise your nightclub. Create an eye-catching design with the location and hours of your club. From there, hang the posters anywhere that your target clients will see them. Keep in mind that your city may have certain laws about where you can hang posters.
- Business cards
Business cards are portable advertising, and you shouldn’t hesitate to use them. Anytime you meet with someone that could be interested in attending your nightclub, give them a business card.
- Brochures
What sort of services will your night club offer? Is it simply a bar or will you have a full service menu? Will you host VIP events like birthday parties or bachelorette parties? A brochure can be useful to share the different types of services that you have to offer.
- Stationery
If you need to send out a letter, one of the ways that you can promote your business is with company stationery. Not only will this give you a professional image, but it will help to create brand recognition.
- Postcards
If you need an inexpensive way to spread information about your night club, postcards are an easy way to do this. Create a colorful, personal postcard that will attract the eye when it comes in the mail. You can then purchase a mailing list and mail them to your target clientele for just a few cents per card.
- Stickers
Freebies automatically generate interest, and stickers are a fun freebie to share. You can pass these out to people on the street, as well as visitors to the club. Every time a sticker gets stuck, you have left a lasting impression that is sure to be seen.
- Banners
If your night club is not immediately recognizable as one, a banner can help to get the word out that you are open. A “Grand Opening” banner is sure to attract curious onlookers.
- Event tickets
Nothing suggests exclusivity like selling tickets to the grand opening or another special event. In addition, you can use the tickets to promote your night club after the event is over by printing your logo or a special offer on the stub.
- Club cards
Club cards are another way that you can advertise you night club. Cardholders can be eligible for special features, such as discounts on drinks or a VIP lounge. You can charge a small fee for club cards or give them out free for filling out a survey (which would give you valuable information to build your own mailing list).
- Souvenir posters
Hosting a special event at your night club? Creating souvenir posters for those in attendance will give them a permanent reminder of the evening and help them to remember you when they are considering the Friday night scene.
