Posters Childrens Questions

Parents — what fun projects have your children been assigned?

Hi. I’m a first grade teacher, and I’m looking for more project ideas to use in my classroom. Specifically, I would like to find one or two more at-home projects the students could do with their parents. What fun, educational at-home projects have your childrens’ teachers assigned? To get an idea of what I’m looking for, here are the ones I used last year:

– Animal Skins project: Students cut a paper bag to look like an animal skin and write a story using pictographs.

– Dressed for the Weather project: Students dress a paper doll for any type of weather they choose, mount it on a poster, and write about their choice.

– State report: Students cut posterboard in the shape of a chosen state, then decorate it with facts/pictures telling about the state.

If you have any great ideas of projects your children enjoyed (or projects you enjoyed helping them with), please let me know.

Thanks!

Cute idea amazed!! Almost like a mini-play!

One thing that one of my sons did in 3rd grade was called “Flat Stanley”. there is a book called Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown.

When Stanley Lambchop wakes up one morning, his brother, Arthur, is yelling. A bulletin board fell on Stanley during the night, and now he is only half an inch thick! Amazing things begin happening to him. Stanley gets rolled up, mailed, and flown like a kite. He even gets to help catch two dangerous art thieves. He may be flat, but he’s a hero!

Have the kids draw themselves on big pieces of paper and make themselves into “Flat Joe” or “Flat Jessica” and then mail themselves to a relative or friend far away. Preferable in a different state or better yet country.

Have the “Flat Joe/Jessica” spend a week there and have the relative describe a bit about where they are, what they did, what they saw etc.

Have the kids explain about their “flat” person adventures.

Good luck and THANK YOU FOR BEING A TEACHER!!

Children Posters: Make a Child’s World Truly Fascinating

The choice of a child is universal. Children all over the world like the same stuff. Be it a Barbie doll or a Cartoon character. They relate themselves with these figures and so parents also want to gift their children the same stuff. And so mostly parents are buying children posters. These posters decorate room of a child, keeps him/her happy and also they keep the room clean so that it may look beautiful always.

If you are interested in children posters then you can search them on general gift shops in your vicinity. You can find posters of cartoon characters, Toys, children movies or animals. If you want more variety then you can rely on poster websites. These are dedicated sites for selling posters on a variety of themes. Through these sites it is very easy to shop for posters on a variety of stuff which are liked by children.

You can find titles like Bang on the door, Banana Splits, Batman, Barbie, Beatrix Potter, Biker Mice, Bratz, Bugs Bunny, Disney Fairies, Dragonball Z, Garfield, Lazy Town, Looney Tunes and lots more. It is very difficult to find this kind of variety in normal gift shops. In fact it is necessary for the children that they get some stuff around them which can make them happy. These children posters serve the same purpose. These posters are cute, beautiful, witty, unique, and also funny.

Hence if you want to add fun stuff in the life of your children then decorate their room with children posters. They love those cartoon characters and if these characters are present in their room then it is natural that they will love that place and would like to be in the room for long hours. You can teach them also through these posters. Therefore, visit poster sites and choose your favourite poster. You can buy these posters on very reasonable prices because you can compare the prices.

So, choose, compare and buy the children poster of your choice and gift your children. It would be the best gift for them.
