Thickfreakness $8.96 Akron, Ohio’s Black Keys offer crunchy, riff-heavy blues-rock that is remarkably rich and textured, particularly when one considers that they are merely a duo. Continuing in the vein of their 2002 debut, The Big Come Up, this sophomore CD leavens their garage blues with enough innovation to keep things interesting, taking full advantage of Dan Auerbach’s full-throated growl. Particularly appealing… |

Love Poster Black And White Questions
HELP!! Pictures/poster ideas for a BLANK boring room!!?
hey there, im in my early 20s and i just moved into an apt and my room walls are sooo boring.
i’m really bad at decorating and creativity, so if u guys can give me good cheap ideas i’d appreciate it.
a little about me: I’m a HUGE music buff…i listen to everything from 2pac to the white stripes…
i also love indie movies.
i hate bright and pastel colors! i really like black and white, red, and bold colors. my bedding is a deep red color so i was thinking of something that can play on that.
i dunno, i dont really like the typical meaningless art paintings ppl throw up on their walls, so i want something to reflect me, give me ideas on how to do that!! and i dont want to tape posters on my wall bc im no longer in college!
i was going to get album frames and order posters of my fave artists/bands album covers and place them in the frames- but is that tacky? and would it be weird to have rappers and rock band posters on the same wall?
First, I’d paint the walls charcoal gray. Then tape off large vertical stripes and glaze over every other section. That way you get a cool striped effect without being obnoxious.
Next, check out thrift stores and yard sales for old instruments. Guitars, trumpets, whatever you like. Paint a red box large enough to “frame” the instrument directly on the wall, then mount the instrument.
I like the idea of framing albums. Grouping them in odd numbers is best, unless you go for a square effect – two on top and two on bottom. I would skip the posters unless you find one that just really appeals to you. Most posters to me are tacky. Don’t be afraid to let your eclectic tastes in music come through. It wouldn’t be strange at all to mix genres in your decorating.
Poster Printing Ideas for Kids!
Designing your kids’ room is a whole lot of fun. The colors and designs are always fun to play around with. But with all that planning and decorating, you also want your child’s opinions on what they want for their room. Through poster prints, you can add a personal touch of your kid in so many ways. Here are just some DIY ideas that you can create a different mood to any child’s room:
1. Favorite action figure or doll: all children have their most cherished cartoon figure. And anything that contains that certain alien, person, or hero, they would definitely die for. With the use of poster prints, surprising your child with a very large poster of it would surely drive them wild.
2. Kids with Pets: You know how your kids love their pets – even if it’s a fish. Their pets are very close to them and taking a photo of your kid with his/her pet would be something he/she would really appreciate. Also, your kid would always have something to brag about when his/her friends come to visit.
3. Costume Party: Once in a while, your kid gets invited to some odd costume party. And you dress them up into the best thing you could imagine. Having them as poster prints would surely brighten up a room, and it would make your kid feel like a star!
4. Birthday Parties: Birthdays of your kids are always fun to take photos of. Your child is at his/her best when he’s the host of his own party. Capturing moments of your child’s special day would surely look great. Or maybe black and white photos on your child’s bathroom wall would also look great. Having his poster would make him feel special indeed.
Poster prints ;can make any room feel personalized with the right photos taken. And for a child’s room, there are many fun and crazy ideas you could create that can put more meaning to any kid’s room.
