how to decorate my tri fold poster for sci fair?
i want to cover it with construction paper but do not want it to look tacky…. N E suggestions..

Since construction paper does not come in sheets large enough to cover a trifold, have you considered another type of paper? Try your local school supply or art supply house for paper that comes on a roll. Or you could use wrapping paper or wallpaper.
To mount it so it looks ‘neat’, ‘professional’, use spray adhesive. You can get this at the school or art supply place or at your local ‘big box’ hardware store (like Home Depot). Use a repositionable spray adhesive (sometimes called spray mount) for ease in use and use it outside (the fumes are nasty!)
If you must use construction paper, tear it so that there are no smooth, cut edges and overlap slightly when applying. This makes the application look ‘purposeful’ and kinda cool!
If you have to use a wet glue (like Elmer’s), put it on the edges only, and squeegee down so it is smooth with the paper-otherwise the paper will buckle and look messy.
Another option: use spray paint to cover the triboard. Use this outside and be careful…..
